The Formerly Incarcerated, Convicted People and Families Movement (FICPFM) is proud to announce the launch of its “50 for 50” drive, a program commemorating Executive Director David Ayala’s 50th birthday. This initiative aims to galvanize support for individuals directly impacted by the criminal legal system while celebrating the significant strides made by FICPFM under David’s leadership.

“50 for 50” is not just a celebration; it reflects our mission to advocate for and empower all directly impacted individuals. We recognize the diverse experiences within our community – from those who have faced incarceration to their families and the communities they return to. This initiative underscores our dedication to seeing and supporting every individual affected by systemic legal challenges.
David’s journey to leading FICPFM has been marked by his unwavering commitment to justice and equality. Over the years, David has been a critical figure in witnessing and contributing to the evolution of the movement for justice reform. This is a tribute to his life’s work and the collective progress of our network, which is the largest of its kind in the world.
Through “50 for 50,” FICPFM aims to raise awareness and foster engagement across its expansive network. We invite our supporters, allies, and community members to join us in this pivotal initiative. Your involvement will bolster our ongoing efforts to create systemic change, uplift underrepresented voices, and promote a more equitable society.
