Quest for Democracy

Quest for Democracy Advocacy Day helps formerly incarcerated people speak truth to power, regain our dignity, and make California a better, safer place for all. We will be meeting with CA legislators virtually to advocate for a platform of bills to improve access to employment, housing, and education, & to restore our civil and human rights.

This year, Digital Quest for Democracy will take place on May 4th, from 10 am to 2 pm.

All formerly incarcerated & convicted people, family members, and allies are welcome. Afterwards, we will coordinate follow-up and relationship-building between participants and legislators/staff.

To receive your DQ4D t-shirt in time for the event, please register by April 26th. If you register after April 26th, you will receive your t-shirt later in May.

We will be hosting Digital Quest for Democracy on Whova, a free app that, once downloaded to your device or computer, will have the agenda and access to all the meetings at your fingertips. We are happy to assist anyone in downloading the app or creating a Whova account. If you’re not able to access the Whova app, then a Zoom account can be used to attend individual sessions.
